I'm a cripple because of "Dark Matter". For the Universe to exist in the state
that it does requires 96% more matter than actually exists. This is not
possible. This non-detectable matter is referred to as Dark Matter.
The reason I am here is to offset a tiny portion of dark matter. At first, you
may not think this is a problem that my presence can influence to a great
degree, but what if everyone thought that way. The Dark Matter already makes up
so much of what holds our Universe together that without it, the solar system
would simply fly apart in all directions. The universe would shred itself.
If we can only account for 4% of the matter needed to keep the universe as we
know it, my existence could be the few extra molecules that makes all our lives
possible.
If that isn't true, then a drunk hit me while I was on a bicycle. If that means
I can live the rest of my life as a pointless accident of chance, I guess I'll
have to deal with it.
I think we are here to learn and share. Being crippled is not nearly as bad as
being selfish and stupid.
The question is not "why were you injured. The question is "Why are stupid,
selfish people here?"

Do you believe there was a reason? Was it for some greater purpose? Your
destiny?

If so, do you know what it is (yet)?
