  Subject: [QUAD-L] Irrigation syringe

I'm hoping someone out there has an idea. I was receiving my supplies through
Drug Mart pd by Medicaid. The bags were all Bard. Now, Medicaid isn't paying
for Bard, instead switched to Reliamed. They don't make a bulb syringe to fit
their bags for flushing everyday. The Bard bulb is too big. The woman from Drug
Mart suggested I use tapwater.
I called Reliamed. He informed me...they don't. He said the Bulb syringe was
for folies and wounds. ( haven't flushed my foley in yrs) He said they have an
*Appliance cleaner syringe* that would only be able to put a few drops in at a
time and could not tell me what was in the solution. And that I wouldn't need
to buy my distilled water & distilled vinegar. And that I would be safe anyway
as the solution cannot get to the foley! What comes out, can be forced back up
the foley. After all this ignorance and foolish entertainment, I still need a
bulb syringe.
