HI, I GOT MINE FROM A CANADIEN COMPANY CALLED WAVERLY GLEN----I LOVE MY 2 PIECE STRAP SET-----I HATE FULL BODY SLINGS. THEY USUALLY HAVE A DISTRIBUTOR IN YOUR AREA ORDER FOR YOU......THOUGH YOU MAY BE ABLE TO ORDER IT STRAIGHT FROM THE COMPANY. THEY WERE A BIT WORRIED ABOUT LAWSUITS IF NO BODY OR ARM CONTROLL AT ALL------BUT I TOLD MY DISTRIBUTOR TO JUST ORDER IT FOR ME, THAT I'D HOLD NO-ONE RESPONSIBLE AND WOULD EVEN SIGN SAYING SO----------WE'LL HE JUST GOT ME ONE BECAUSE I DON'T NEED FULL SLING , I'M A C-6 GOOD LUCK, YOU CAN FIND WAVERLY GLEN ONLINE------IF THEY WON'T SEND DIRECT JUST ASK FOR YOUR NEAREST LOCAL SUPPLIER THAT USES THEM.............. I am a C 3/4 quadriplegic and since I left the rehab facility 15 years ago I have been using two straps about 6 inches wide {instead of a sling} whenever I hoyer in and out of my wheelchair. One of them goes behind my shoulders and the other goes under my knees. I want to replace those straps and cannot find them available anywhere. All I can find are slings now and we are used to the straps and would really like to stay with them. Does anybody on here have an idea where I could purchase them or have them made?
