David K. Kelmer, 55, of Wichita Falls died Saturday, May 30, 2009, in Wichita Falls.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Wichita Falls with Pastor Travis Patterson officiating. At the request of Mr. Kelmer, his body was donated to Texas Tech University in Lubbock. Mr. Kelmer was the Spinal Cord Injury Caregivers Texas representative and was the Texas ambassador for the Wall of Tolerance. Survivors include sons, Jon of Hastings, Mich., Chris of Iowa Park; mother, Helen Eschief of Wichita Falls; grandmother, Flo Kane of Plainwell, Mich.; brother, Doug of Wichita Falls; sisters, Nina James of Phoenix, Nita Fosmore of Mendon, Mass., and Ginny Gillum of Austin, Ark.; and four grandchildren.
