Re: Potassium, I can't speak to it directly but I believe the body treats it 
similarly to calcium.  And for that my doc is sending me to an endocrinologist. 
 It seems that 3 years of Fosamax didn't cause any changed in my bone density 
scores and he wants to find out why.  (It could be going 9 mo. without while I 
was completely non-weightbearing & bedbound.)   Maybe potassium is similar (??) 
and an endocrinologist can figure out if/why use and absorbtion might be 
affected.

Re: Supra and tube loops, I've never heard it helps drainage.  I just know the 
loop in the drainage bag tube does 2 things... 1) provides some slack so I can 
move without having it pulled, and 2)  if the loop stays on the bed instead of 
hanging, it prevents the weight of a urine-filled, 3-ft long tube from pulling 
at the stoma.
