I own two suits. Both were tailor cut and fitted. I was told any tailor worth
his salt knew how to measure and fit clothes for someone in a wheelchair. My
left leg is 3 1/2 inches shorter than the right leg. My spine is seriously bent
and twisted. The tailor makes me look pretty straight. I usually wear jogging
pants and a stretchy pull over shirt most days. I buy shoes that have extra
room in the toes and sides. black joggers don't show the wet if I have an
accident and loose a condom. I just dumpp water in my lap and tilt back so most
of it goes in a litter box. I don't have a cat so it helps keepo the smell down
untill my aid comes.

good luck,
john

Subject: [QUAD-L] Wheelchair Clothing

I am in the process of putting together an article on wheelchair clothing for
the summer issue of Dangerwood. If you can spare just 5 or 10 minutes of your
time, I could really use your input to do a good job on this. Please tell me
where you buy your wheelchair pants/clothing, as well as whether or not you
like them AND WHY. I'm talking about their service, prices, selection and
quality of the product. Is there a clothing dealer that you DO NOT like, AND
WHY you don't like them? Anything you might be able to add would be great.
Please let me know if you would prefer your comments left out of the feature.
Thanks a lot, Nick
