----NAMI CHILDREN'S MENTAL HEALTH CONCERNS SURVEY: NAMI's  Child and 
Adolescent Action Center wants to hear from parents and caregivers  with a 
child 
diagnosed with a mental illness, who developed the illness  before age 18, 
about their experiences and thoughts on discussing mental  health concerns 
about their child with primary care staff and physicians.To  access the survey

----INDIANA AUTISM NEEDS ASSESSMENT SURVEY
Every 3  years the Indiana Resource Center for Autism (IRCA) is 
legislatively  mandated to conduct a Needs Assessment Survey. The purpose of 
this 
survey is  to allow families of individuals on the autism spectrum to discuss 
issues  that are relevant, including quality educational programming, 
employment,  Medicaid Waivers, insurance coverage and other topics. Results of 
the 
survey  are presented to the Indiana Legislative Commission on Autism and to 
other  state agencies. The feedback you provide will assist the Commission in 
 evaluating the effectiveness of the current system and in develop

4. "WHAT  CAN YOU DO?" VIDEO CONTEST - DEADLINE JULY 15 2009
Create a video  showcasing people with disabilities in the workplace, and 
you could win  $1,500! The Campaign for Disability Employment is looking for 
videos to help  promote the contribution people with disabilities make to 
the workplace and  the economy.  Selected videos will be used in The 
Campaign's efforts to  increase the employment of people with disabilities.  
The 
grand  prizewinner will receive $1,500! To enter, make a video of 60 seconds or 
 
less expressing one of the contest themes:
"At work, it's what people CAN  do that matters"
"Good workplace policies and practices for people  with disabilities 
benefit everyone and make good business  sense"
"Work is an important part of people's lives"

An opportunity for all  participants to learn about educational options 
offered and to help propose  new ideas and solutions that can benefit people 
with disabilities, other  students, faculty, and the entire community. The

The Indiana Institute's Center on Community Living and Careers  is pleased 
to announce a new publication titled Is College for You? Setting  Goals and 
Taking Action. This guidebook is written to assist high school  students and 
their families when considering college as a future option. The  
publication contains basic information, tools, and resources to help  students 
make 
informed decisions about whether or not college is for them.  Specific 
information is provided to assist students with disabilities in  planning for 
and

7. IDEA ONE STOP WEBSITE FOR FREE  SPECIAL ED INFO AND RESOURCES
The U.S. Department of Education,  Office of Special Education Programs' 
(OSEP's) IDEA website was created to  provide a "one-stop shop" for resources 
related to IDEA and its implementing  regulations. It is a "living" website 
and will change and grow as resources  and information become available. The 
site provides searchable versions of  IDEA and the regulations, access to 
cross-referenced content from other laws  (e.g., the No Child Left Behind Act 
(NCLB), video clips on selected topics,  topic briefs on selected 
regulations, training materials, and a Q&A  Corner where you can submit 
questions.

The DBTAC - Network of ADA  Centers is pleased to announce the release of
