Have you downloaded and installed Service Pack 1 for Dragon
NaturallySpeaking 10? This may help as it fixed a number of issues.

 

I have gotten good technical support from Nuance, the Dragon vendor. Just go

Sorry... and should have read "... I use Dragon 10, but lately, I can only
use Dragon in the DragonPad window. It doesn't work in Word anymore, or
anywhere else for that matter. Does anyone know why? It's terrible.
