I had it last year under my fingernails. I went to the dermatologist and
he told me not to get French nails anymore as I have been going to a nail
place only clear polish and to keep shorter. Some of my fingernails have
been having a lot of white under them and a lot of ridges in the last couple
years. The skin seems to grow under my nails at the end of them. The
dermatologist said the fungus happens because my aides are not getting your
fingers and hands dry enough after bathing me. He treated the fungus with a
couple different topical medication although I don't remember the names. I
had to take the medicine about two times, may be about 2 weeks. I've made
another appointment just to ask about the ridges and the skin. Skin under
the nails he is not on all my fingers, probably about three of them. The
ridges are on all of them. The end of my fingers often appear red figure.
I can't really see my feet. under it. It seems to be mostly my thumbs,
middle finger with white under the nail and one toenail with the white
Does anybody have any of these problems.
