What keeps me going? Playing crack the whip with my grandkids on roller
skates or skateboards. Answering little kids questions and watching the
adults get closer and closer so they can hear too. Realizing that my dreams
are not yet accomplished and I still have much I want to do. Finding out
that my youngest daughter is going to have a baby in January-my seventh
grandchild-and my oldest granddaughter is going to have a baby in
December-my second great grandchild, so I have to stick around so that they
get a chance to know me also. Going to a horse show and interacting with
all the kids, and getting to cheer them all on. Watching the envy on the
other first graders when my youngest granddaughter gets to ride on my chair,
and then enjoying giving rides to any one who wants them, even the teacher
assistant. LOL

Life is great, SCI sucks, but the alternative was not acceptable.

What you do for yourself dies with you. What you do for others, lives
forever.
