DME means durable medical equipment. Contact your closest independent living center. They should point you in the right direction.

What is DME?

Does anybody know of does that type of stuff in Maryland? I would not even
know who or where to start talking to.

The only way to see if a cushion is good for you is to be mapped.
It's easy. Everyone's butt is different. A 600 dollar cushion may give you
pressure when a 100 cushion does not.
Check with your DME or wheelchair clinic.

Subject: [QUAD-L] ROHO Question

Hello everybody,
I been using the Jay 2 cushion for quite a few years but I been think of
going to a ROHO cushion. I want a cushion that has better airflow on my
butt, it just seems like I get a heat rash and need to get some fresh air
and from what I read about the ROHO (Ventilated: Separate air cells allow
air circulation to reach the surface of the skin and provide cooling
environment.) and that sounds just like what I need. I am looking at the THE
ROHO(r) CONTOUR SELECT(r) CUSHION or ENHANCER(r) CUSHION, which one would
you guys suggest?
Lester
