I live in New Hampshire but I went to Boston Mass. They are supposed to have the best hospitals in the nation. I think not so much.

Damn, Dan, where do you live? I want to avoid your area like the plague if I need a Urologist.

FWIW, I've gotten good health care in Southeast Georgia and Northeast Florida for 21 years. Also, the weather is very nice here most of the year, though quite hot in summer.

Subject: Re: [QUAD-L] Blasting kidney stone

At least your doctors are doing something. I had one kidney stone blasted. A few months later it came back but they would not blast it again. I went through four uros. They all kept putting it off until finally the kidney was pretty much dead. So they said, no sense operating now that your kidney is pretty much dead!?! You have to love the medical care in this country.

Well, a repeat of last summer. My uro dr. is going back up into a kidney again on Thursday to blast another stone. If all goes well it should be an outpatient procedure.
