Ask your DME or even a local electrician to hardwire an AC inverter to your
power wheelchair batteries. I get about 12 hours if they are fully charged. You
can buy a power pack for about $400 from optima. It uses two huge deep cycles
and should supply a long run for an air mattress and a TV.

Subject: [QUAD-L] Question about low airloss beds

I have a low air loss bed, it doesn't have any battery back up if the power
goes out.  where I live it doesn't happen that often but when it does, it can
be a pain.  Does anyone no of a back up power supply besides a generator, I'
thinking of trying one they use fr office computers.
