This is just a reminder to anyone who is not aware of another great website for people with paralysis and other forms of disability, friends and family. Dangerwood is an online magazine that also facilitates the sharing of information between any interested party. It's full of articles, tips and lots of useful information. The website address is: Www.SurvivingParalysis.com.
I will be entering the hospital at the beginning of December for approximately 3 or 4 months for anywhere from 2-4 surgeries. The first one will be for a huge wound. The second surgery will be to fuse my spine (I have an advanced case of scoliosis). Third surgery will be to repair my shoulder. I broke a bone in it when I was dropped off my massage table during range of motion. An upcoming MRI will tell me if anything is torn, but I'm pretty sure I tore part of my rotator cuff. If I need a fourth surgery, it will be for a torn hamstring. It's felt torn for a year now, and an upcoming MRI will tell me for sure. I have my winter issue of my magazine coming out in late December, and no time to prepare anything, so if anyone is interested in writing an article for it, I am looking to hire writers. You can contact me at [email protected]. .. Thanks, Nick Www.SurvivingParalysis.com [email protected]
