These power W/C have an enormous amounbt of potential energy. A baby stroller
is not something I can imagine being strong enough to be placed in front of one
of these 600lbs gorillas. Stroller axles are often 3/8 inch diameter. Just
imagine how that would rip apart in an impact between buckled sidewalk and your
chair cruising at 7mph.
I had an idea for a tubular steel rig that clamped to the frame and held a
punkin seat just above your lap so you could see where your driving but then I
realized, I haven't got a kid not to mention access to a tube bender.

Subject: [QUAD-L] Baby stroller question

My co-worker uses a power wheelchair.  He and his wife are expecting a baby
soon.  He is wondering if anyone knows of a stroller that can be connected to
the front of his wheelchair so he can push the baby around.  For those of you
with children, how did you do it (I mean the stroller, I know how you did the
other part - lol)?

Any suggestions welcomed.

Don.
