I started out driving a 1977 Dodge full-sized and now have a 1998 Dodge
grand Caravan. I would never go back to a full-size van again. Yes, it is
nice to have the room and be able to transport an outhouse to the mountains,
but a minivan is so much easier to drive.

I do not part in handicapped spots about 75% of the time, unless they
opened on to the lined area next to the traffic lane. Most times I will
travel
down the parking aisle and Park in two spaces at an angle. This way
nobody can pull beside me, and I have never been blocked in. I've gotten a
few
nasty notes from time to time that I don't have a nice enough vehicle to
park this way, of which I say......

I have also gotten into the habit of backing into a single spot when I need
to use it. It is easier for me to make traffic wait until I back in then
back out into a traffic lane. Backing does need some practice but the more
you do it the easier it is.

Merry Christmas,

Glenn Henry
