So after 3 or 4 screw-ups getting my chair fixed (it would come back with more problems than I sent it in with, some minor some major). It finely came back and seemed to be OK. BUT.., I took it out for a longer ride and notice the speed was set about 25% lower. I made an appointment to go in and get it fixed while I was in my chair. They wont let me stay in my chair unless it's a minor thing they can fix in the lobby. I can't go into the shop. The day after it came back 2 things happened. First, was my single post legrest dropped an inch. I had them raise it because they dropped earlier. It has a belt that raises and lowers them as you recline, for less sheering. Probably for the 10th time. I've even had it replaced too. Just a bad design. The belt just slips, maybe Phoenix is just too warm. Secondly, a mercury switch went bad, I think. When I recline or raise my seat, the chair has a mercury switch that sets the speed to very slow. A safety thing. Somehow it got set to very slow all the time. I heard a clank then my chair just slowed. The joystick says "Slow" on the LED screen even if my seat s down and I'm sitting up.
I guess the chair is getting old enough for things to star going bad. At least I can't blame them for these 2 things. I hope they can fix it. I don't want to go months moth without my "good" chair. Greg
