Hopefully soon I can qualify for a new chair. For almost 20 years I've used mid or front wheel chairs. My very first chair was a rear wheel, belt driven, 21st Century. It was big, bulky, and pretty fast. Now I'm thinking of going back to that chair. It's better looking now, though still not great. It still uses belt drive. The rear wheel is not much bigger than the front now, not that bike size wheel it used before. The front wheel is a bit bigger than my mid wheel TDX5 uses. That's good for outside, maybe I wont get stuck in gravel as often. Though wider tires might not be as good for indoors. It says it goes 11.6, though with tilt, recline, and seat raiser, that would slow it down some.
The Permobil X850 Corpus looks cool, best looking power chair I've seen. But it only does 9 mph. It's just such a cool chair. It's like a mini car. Maybe in the next year I can get one of these. Greg
