Kansas has this program and I think other states do also. You can just
download the application from this website.. It allows you to get a
special-needs phone and you can earn up to $55,000. I'm about to get my third
phone, you can apply every few years. You just have to get your doctor to
sign
the form and you fill out what kind of phone line. Mine was working about
the same time I can qualify for a new one. I have an Ameriphone voice
dialed phone and although it is not perfect and it has its quirks, it is great
as you can put it on a boom and move it to whatever side you are turned.
It allows you to be able to access your phone in any position. I remember
when I used to have a regular speaker telephone that I could barely get to
and it would fall off the bed.
What other kinds of phones do any of you use? There may be a better one
