My friend who used to work in the financial community as a loan officer said that Capital One reports your card usage as a percent of your maximum balance used rather than a percent of your maximum available credit like everyone else does. This has the effect of showing your usage as a much bigger percent and lowers your credit score which the three credit reporting agencies show when you try to borrow money from anyone. It's not illegal, just non-standard and very much to your disadvantage. AZDAVE “Mere longevity is a good thing for those who watch Life from the side lines. For those who play the game, an hour may be a year, a single day's work an achievement for eternity.”

I just signed up, it's easy as pie online and they raised the first purchase bonus from $25 to $50! Just click on the link below. Also feel free to pass this among your friends, neighbors, etc. on your address book. Jeff Hey members, if you currently use a credit card, why not use one that will automatically donate 1% of every purchase you make to Spinal Cord Society? Simply go to _https://www.cardlabconnect.com/CURE-NOT-CARE_ (http://email.capitalone.com/1d9d8b60clayfiusiba2cxayaaaaabsbpq7hte4tq44yaaaaa) and apply. You will also be able to choose among three customized design card images that proudly display the SCS logo, or create one of your own. At least once a quarter Capital One will automatically transfer your rewards to the Spinal Cord Society, without any processing or other fees deducted. In addition, Spinal Cord Society will receive a $50 bonus contribution when you make the first purchase with your card. This is a No Annual Fee credit card. APR and finance fees will apply if you do not pay your balance in full every month. Be sure to read the full disclosure agreement when applying. The Spinal Cord Society advocates only responsible users apply. If you shop on line, remember to shop your favorite stores through _www.GoodShop.com_ (http://www.goodshop.com/) , a network that will donate up to 30% of your purchase to Spinal Cord Society. Simply type in Spinal Cord Society where it asks "Who do you support". That's it! This is a great place to use your new credit card too.
