Dan
I have a question for you all. Since so many of us get UTIs with
supra pubics and folley's, why don't they make catheters with a broad
spectrum slow release antibiotic on the tip of the catheter. I would
think that this would, if not kill, then at least keep at bay any
bacteria that might be in the bladder. This way at least you are not
exposing your whole body to the effects of the antibiotics. Kind of
like the idea or of a baclofen pump. I know people have good luck
with the silver tipped catheters but would not this go a step
further? What do you guys think?
