[QUAD-L] *clicking* chairs WHY - WHY - WHY???????????

Anybody,
       I have a 41/2 year old storm series Action power chair. When I 
ordered it, the very FIRST thing I asked was "Which chair can I order won't 
click 
every time I move?" 
  Question; can I get my repair chair people to "turn off" this clicking? I 
understand the clicking has something to do with a magnet so the chair 
won't go backwards when I'm going forward, or something like that. Am I right?
