Pride Mobility is a basicly good company. But they have just entered the
rehab market with rehab chairs. Invacare and Sunrise Medical have been in
the rehab chair business for over 20 years. Remember that function should
always trump form with rehab wheelchairs. Make sure that YOU can use the
chair.

Has anybody had any experience with r4000 by pride? I will require sip
&puff control system along with tilt seating. According to the manufacturer
numbers top speed is pretty decent but I'm wondering at the cost of speed
versus distance? I can cover large geographical area let's say in six hours
and I am currently using Invacare Ranger X. gearsless brushless motors. I
have had this set up for the last two chairs and absolutely finish dealing
with Invacare serious electronic problems! So battery life, motor durability
and electronics are my most essential areas of concern within the chair may
choose early next year. Thanks from Indiana Monty 3/4 16 post injury
