Just my opinion, but I would think using any kind of chin control or like, a
front or mid wheel chair would work better. Though I've never really used a
chin control or sip-n-puff much. I know the turning is much different with a
front/mid, but once you figure it out you can turn much sharper with fewer
movements. Like some turns with a rear wheel chair you need to go forward then
back, forward then back, etc. as you try sharp/narrow turns.
With the front/mid wheel chairs you can pull right up to the side of a table in
a crowded restaurant much easier, or turn completely around inside a mini van.
Or course everyone's life is different and has different needs, you need the
chair that best fits you. I think mid/front wheel is much better indoors, rear
much better outdoors. But I'm a believer in trying all options before you make
a decision that you are stuck with for 5-7 years or longer.

After all that, I would like to get a rear wheel chair now. The Bounder, 21st
Century. I've made changes in my life style and now I'm outside much more. The
extra speed would be real nice.
