Ed Roberts, the Father of Independent Living... attended college in a very
heavy iron lung, on his back for years, before getting his degree. Upon
graduating in California, Ed was judged "unemployable" because of his iron
lung (Polio) by his Voc Rehab Counselor. Ed, return to college/university
and received his Master's Degree and later went on to become the Commissioner
of Human Services in the State of California. In effect, he became the
boss of the person who deemed him "unemployable." Ed Roberts set many more
goals before he died so early in life. But he made his point and set the
bar for all those who followed in his blazing trails.

When it comes to higher education, degrees differ and those who give them
differ as well. Just ask a Yale Grad. Will the degree be accepted in
business? Will well-established colleges and universities accept any credit
hours from these online school, into their degree programs? Some do, some
don't. Are your goals Medical or Legal... or a degree in Divinity. Check
with your state's education program with local Schools, Colleges and
Universities with online programs that generate accredited degrees.
Make sure that you get the Most Bang, for your Buck. Remember, it all
comes down to you and YOUR Goals.

Best Wishes

Definitely check for an accredited status wherever you choose to study
online. Personally, I got a degree through University of Phoenix Online. I
can confirm they are accredited and I have had my degree confirmed as valid
through the HR of two past employers.

Belford University, is an "Unaccredited College" that is internet based
and operates from Texas. The local community also refers to this University a
"Diploma Mill" and worthless.

That being said, if you want a college diploma, I'll send you one for half
their price and much less effort. Of course, you will have to pay for the
paper it is printed on and all postage both ways and my personal time.

Knowing this, if you still wish to blow your money..... have we got a deal
for you!
