No, I don't feel endangered be my nurse's or home aid's. The reason why I do not feel unsafe is because they will not go to work if they have a cold or flu. If they have a slight cold, they use a mask to put over their mouth. They also wear gloves at all times when performing a hands on situation with the patient. In fact, a home enviornment in nursing, and taking care of me, my doctor says it is better that I be at home than be in the hospital. I am sure that there are some situations which nurses, and aides do not belong taking care of patients, however, in my own personal situation, I am extremely cautious when letting someone into my home. Therefore, I have only a few nurses and aides that I will trust with my life that I know would never expose me to their own personal infections.
