I went to the doctors last week and they took my picture and ask for my ID. That day I was not feeling good and looked like hell too. As a women I want to look my best when taking a picture. The government has gone to far, if they start asking people to be marked. It sounds like the bible is coming true. If they want to tattoo 666 on us, we better start running for the hills WW --- On Sun, 5/9/10, Dan <[email protected]> wrote:

And they asked me for a picture ID! What! What! What! I was flabbergasted. Where is all this coming from? It's ridiculous. I felt as if I was in a World War II movie, and the Nazis were asking me for my papers. Once again, hysteria concerning the quote unquote bad guys has taken over common sense. I live in New England and have often visited Canada. Going to Canada, back then, was like going to another state. However, now you have to have a damn passport! Our government has led us to believe that more and more identification and scanning and what ever is going to somehow make us safe from the bad guys. This makes no sense whatsoever as not once has identification or the lack thereof prevented a terrorist attack. We are being whipped into a frenzy of apprehension and fear. To prove my point, yesterday in a bordering city someone on an interstate bus. Supposedly overheard the word bomb on a cell phone, which a fellow passenger was listening to. This caused an immediate statewide alert. Resulting in an eight hour standoff over nothing. There was no bomb. There was nothing -- but hysteria. The authorities on the other hand, praised the entire process from the person who supposedly heard the word bomb, to the evacuation of hundreds of people, to bringing out the full force of the National Guard. We don't have to worry about the enemy destroying has, because we are destroying ourselves. Dan At 03:50 PM 5/9/2010, Dan said something that elicited my response: Lol! This country has lost all common sense. Dan At 03:01 PM 5/9/2010, [email protected] said something that elicited my response: Hi All, Anybody here ever get fingerprinted since your accident? I started a summer job at a center where some of the students are developmentally disabled. I am an assistant meditation instructor to 12 students with physically disabilities but have to be fingerprinted nevertheless. My finger are curled up so the only prints they could attempt were my thumbs, but I very rarely use my left thumb so it had no raised ridges - no print, they could only get my right thumb. Bobbie
