Yes unfortunately, I had to buy Dragon 10 when I got Windows 7, however I heard that Dragon NaturallySpeaking version 9 as a patch to make it compatible with Windows 7. Which doesn't really help you much but I would check the manufacturers website. http://www.nuance.com/naturallyspeaking/
