Nick, Some people need six small meals a day. I think that's the best
thing for persons that are quadriplegic as we can't eat much at one time
usually. Then you would not be hungry.

My stomach is bloated before I have my bowel routines each evening, but
flat after that. I just eat breakfast, that being Bran chex and dinner which
is usually fish, buffalo, chicken or turkey. I rarely eat beef, because the
fat it contains. I eat a lot of salads and fruit and vegetables. I eat
brussels sprouts almost every day. I try not be much bread at all. I never eat
more than one piece with a sandwich. I eat macaroni were noodles
occasionally. I first lost weight was Slim fast a number of years ago. My
doctor just
hated Slim fast. She preferred light Ensure. She also told me to always
eat bran cereal for breakfast to prevent bowel blockages. A few years ago my
bowels were not working and they prescribed a will or Robert are you
remotely that stool stuff I use when I had that last bowel while walking we
have
on the camera set bottle of Miralax. The blockage finally moved but it was
really miserable. My stomach looked like I had a basketball in it. It seems
like it may have happened because they were not doing Digital's right. My
mom had to come to the hospital. The rehab doctor tried to instruct the
staff but it didn't do any good..

I know what you mean. Mine is driving me nuts, too. When I eat dinner in
bed
(fed by someone), even though I'm hungry, my body feels full even before I
start. Then, before I have even eaten much, I'm full. But I'm still
hungry.
So, a couple of hours later, I'm hungry again.

Subject: [QUAD-L] Quad Belly

My quad belly seems to be growing no matter what I do. It looks like if
you
poked me I would pop.
I'm not over weight, fairly skinny arms and legs. I've been working out
and
watching what I eat.
I feel like I'm pushing my stomach out trying to make myself look pregnant.
But my belly is getting uncomfortable, when I try to bend forward, etc.
I wish those Ab Belts that shock your muscles to tighten would work, but I
heard they don't.
It would be great if a doc could just go in there and tie every thing back

up. I feel like all my inside stuff is lowering out of place.
Even my abdomen binder does not help hold things in place.
Greg
