Yesterday I went on to the SCI CareCure Forum and did a search on the Airpulse PK wheelchair cushion. There were not many conversations about it except for one guy (back in July of 2007) who was trying to get his insurance to pay for it after battling a wound for a long time and really needing to get up in the chair to be able to work. Another quad responded to him and that person told him about another cushion that was almost exactly identical but was/is much much cheaper. I told my husband about it so yesterday my husband e-mailed the Airpulse PK company and asked them why they thought their product was worth so much more than their competitors. We will see if we get a response to that (my husband's e-mail to them) today from Airpulse. Their competitor is the "Ease Cushion." Every description about the Airpulse PK makes 100% sense but, then, everyone is different so I thought I would ask here on the list as well.
