Hi Lucinda, The bedside bags I use (Bard Model No. 154002) have a firm tubing that I do not think can kink. As I mentioned, we connect the end of the tubing to my external catheter (though it could connect to a Foley as well) through a hole cut into my left pants pocket. The tubing then runs alongside, not under my wheelchair cushion, then under my chair to where the bag is attached to a loop underneath the seat of my wheelchair.
