Years 10 - 15 averaged 3 a year. Years 16-21 Just one a year. Last one a year ago and counting. Learned to really committed to a strict regimine of care. Wash with soap and water every day and night by gloved caregiver. Then Change Legbag to Overnight bag using Betadyne swabs on connectors Drink plenty of water (avg 2 qts daily) 6 cranberry pills with Vitamin c (500m) taken with Cranberry Juice. Change Cath every 30 days using Sterile Procedure . Works for me Don't let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do. Billy .
