Hi again all--I wrote yesterday about a pressure sore I have--- I'm spending
much time in bed but have a question.......how do you stay off it?? by laying
turned the other way off the pressure spot ? we tried to get an alternating
air
mattress recently and our provider approved one that we now have but it's total
cost for the pump and air mattress was only $270 bucks..I only have to pay
about
50 bucks out of pocket BUT we were hoping for a much better more expensive type
as some of you have. (this mattress is only covered for warranty 30 days and
1st
one has failed after 5 days ) they replaced the cheap air mattress--it seems to
work ok and is made by invacare. ANYWAY---here is my main question== can I lay
all night on the mattress even with a pressure sore??? or do you guys still
need
to be turned off that area??? me and my wife have almost no experience with
this
kind of issue--so we are trying to learn. Thank you, for all that have helped
on
this so far and to any that answer this !!! Dan H***
