Getting the pump Isn't anything to be afraid of. At least it wasn't for me, because in the the area I had my surgery, I have no feeling. So it was not painful for me. My concern was infection.

Sometimes, I was planning to get that type of pump, ut I'm scared I only take some pills sometimes they help me but sometimes hey don't -----Original Message----- rom: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] ent: Monday, August 30, 2010 1:02 AM o: [email protected]; [email protected] ubject: [QUAD-L] Pain Pump I had a baclofen pump removed last September 11, due to complications with t. At the time of removal, I was told that I could not have it put back in. ut what I did not know at the time, was that I could get pain medicine put irectly into the pump also. Now I'm considering having the pump put back in ust for the pain medicine. My question is, has anyone ever had the pump emoved and reinstalled? I would normally be concerned about them fooling round with my spinal cord, but I'm already a quadriplegic, completely aralyzed on the right side and minimal, nonfunctional, use on the left ide. My only concern would be that they would something affect my brain. Naomi.
