That happened in SouthWest Michigan, several years ago.  I believe  that 
the trips was only 8 plus miles at speeds reaching almost 50 miles per hour  
on a secondary road as the truck was returning to its terminal. I remember 
the  incident burnt the tires off the wheels, but the wheels were not damaged 
and a  cold drink sitting in an armrest holder was still full.  The tires 
and  wheels were replaced the next day.......
Life in the fast lane, eh?

I saw thus youtube  clip of a guy in a power chair got his hand bars on the 
back of his chair  stuck in the grill of a semi. The driver of the semi did 
not see him. He drove  20 miles before another car called the cops who
