If you're already using a computer all day, I don't really think it is an advantage. My understanding is it's the mobility of the device that makes it appealing. The reason I am probably going to be buying a Kindel shortly is because I can read at my desk and later when I get my laptray I might be able to read when I go to an appointment or in waiting on someone.
