When I was first injured I had an abdominal binder that had mettle stays with 
10 clamps to pull it tightly together (this is back in the early 70's before 
Velcro). I ended up loosening it up more and more each month so that I could 
build up my back & stomach mussels - it worked I stopped using one with in 6 or
