Well that answers my question that it is not the operating system it's just
between Dragon and the flash player having the conflict. I even looked for a
older version of the flash player with no luck and sounds like I will have to
save my pennies for Dragon 11.

I am running windows XP, and I have had very similar problems with Mozilla
Firefox and with Internet Explorer.

I have stopped using Internet Explorer altogether.

I've had the most success running Google chrome.

Unfortunately, I tend to avoid watching any sort of videos on my computer,
and I tend to stay away from complicated webpages with lots of flash because
they tend to lock up my computer.

I would suggest installing Google chrome and using it carefully so that you
have a backup browser in case the other two get completely screwed up.

Good luck,

Hello everybody I am in great need of your assistance concerning Dragon
NaturallySpeaking 10.0 64-bit running on Windows 7 with plenty of system
resources to spare! Sometime in the middle of September while using Firefox
visiting certain webpages would lock up the computer and would have to be
powered down from the main power switch. After VirusScan and running other
programs to repair the PC with no luck finding anything wrong?? I finally
figured out it's something to do with the flash player, so I've reinstalled
Dragon, Firefox and the flash player still with no sustainable solution. And
now
even affecting Internet Explorer every once in a while and I can't stand
using
that web browser. After contacting the flash player company for $40 they may

offer me a solution or I could contact Dragon for $10 for a possible
solution
but no guarantees? I have been only running this setup of Windows 7 since
the
beginning of June and everything was great until last month. Thanks for any
ideas or solutions to this strange problem!
