At times things sure can get us down Lori...sometimes it is hard to take it a day at a time and be positive, I'm still recovering from my pressure sore too, but wife say's she thinks it is really getting well. My van lift quit working about 3 weeks ago and they fixed it wrong by replacing the part wrong and wife had to reschedule to have them put the part in correctly ( springs were put in improperly on the replacement parts ) Then this past week it broke down for an entire week because the clutch on the air conditioning froze up causing it not to start (don't need air conditioning now but the pulley system is all conected to the belts and must turn even when air is not on.} Finally got it running again yesterday. I hear ya---it can really suck at times and also makes it hard on our family and caregivers too ! Hope some things improve before long, that being stuck in bed can be so hard ! Danny H. ***

It's been one of THOSE YEARS for me! Been stuck in bed since last year. 6 SOLID months in bed 24/7 March-August 1st. I didn't stay off of it AS SOON as it began (April 2009) so 18 months later ... am only up 3 hrs a day to this day. If I DON'T stay off it ... it'll EXTEND my time in bed and cause further trouble. My van broke on a Saturday when I had a full seating eval scheduled that Monday! Had to cancel the eval but hope to make it to my rescheduled appnt on Monday Nov 1st!!! Life sux so much!
