The Proto Series M91 and M50's were designed and made to meet the CMS codes
and free wheelchair program from a decade ago. Yes, they are pretty heavy
duty and require very little care. Both Pride and Sunrise Medical had
their version of HD wheelchairs too.

I do not know how long the Invacare power chair (Pronto M91) that is shown
on the link below has been around but the back and the seating and the
sturdiness of HOW IT LOOKS reminds me of my Fortress Scientific that I had for
12 years. They do not make Fortress Scientific chairs anymore but I
remember how comfortable the back was. Nice and thick and cushy.

Does anyone know if this is an old chair from Invacare or? I definitely
do not like the 6 wheels but the rest of the chair LOOKS more well-made (for
lack of better words) compared to the Invacare TDX and FDX model that I
just had in my home.
