I have had two very serious episodes of AD that resulted in ambulance rides. The sad and scary part was that nobody at the hospital knew anything about it. My bp was 180/120 and all they did was keep me for observation for about 5 hrs. until I calmed down. I truly thought I was going to die. We never found a direct cause, but our best guess is impacted bowel -- 10 lbs. of poop in a 5 lb. sack. Larry Willis, c-5, 1971
