[QUAD-L] antivirus software

I can't remember who it was, but someone posted they were using a free
program to control viruses and spyware on their computer.  Right now I'm
using Kaspersky in my office, but I'm wanting to use an old computer in my
room.  Does anyone have any suggestions?
