9:20-10:20 Jeri Morris PhD, ABPN: “The Power of Resiliency after Spinal  
Cord Injury”.   Dr.  Morris is a Board Certified  Neuropsychologist; Assistant 
Professor, Department of Physical Medicine and  Rehabilitation, 
Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine and  former senior 
psychologist, 
Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago 
10:20-10:45: Break  
10:45-11:30 Carolyn Mueller, MS, CPT: “Keeping  Active after Spinal Cord 
Injury”  Ms. Mueller is the manager of  the Fitness Services at the 
Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago.  
11:30-12:15: Bert Burns: “Life after SCI”.  Mr. Burns is the founder and 
owner of  “UroMed,” a leading national supplier for urological products.  
Mr. Burns has been living with spinal  cord injury for 29 years. 
12:15-12:30: Q & A 
Directions to parking area and meeting  room: 
Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital is located one stoplight  east of the 
intersection of County Farm Road and Roosevelt Road. There is a  stoplight 
leading into the campus called Community Drive. Turn south on  Community Drive. 
At the first stop sign, go left. The road will wind around  and you will 
come to a second stop sign. There will be a large parking lot on  the right. An 
attendant will be there to assist you. 
PRE-REGISTRATION IS ENCOURAGED. WALK-INS ARE  WELCOMED
