I often wondered the same thing.I haven't said anything in quite some time, but stand in need of some advice regarding back spasms! I am now 17 1/2 years post 3/4c complete and the last three months with no relief. I'm very active and out a good 10 hours most days. Even when the snow is flying, I was in my chair on my computer so I'm not understanding what may have brought this on?? I started the paperwork five months ago for a new chair and still waiting for the financial part of it to come through. I have a Ranger x with TiltSeating, a custom molded back but one thing that really has changed over the last two years is my belly! I do range of motion sometimes twice a day on my arms and my legs once a day with 20 repetitions for the three exercises I have for them. Nothing has changed with my medications and taking baclofen three times a dayBy mouth just about the highest dose which can take. Now with summer almost here, here is a great alternative to the hotel chains. http://www.airbnb.com/ Originally was thinking of staying in an extended stay, because I had little Luck On locating Any timeshare property companies that offered anything without a huge commitment. So after waiting to save the money for this trip something told me to look one more place that would be craigslist and sure enough I found another half dozen of possibilities that was quite competitive with the hotel chains. So after narrowing down the possibilities to the one that is closest to my family, finding a townhouse by an elderly lady who has passed away. So her daughter is selling the property and the way real estate market is I don't expect the property to be sold before my trip. So this townhouse is two bedrooms and fully furnished for $50 less than I was going to pay The hotel . Now I will be Able to invite my family over to hang out with me instead of worrying about their inaccessible houses. Originally there was a 14 day minimum stay and after contacting the person she will allow me to use it for 10 days if it doesn't sell before then. So I guess doing your homework more than once truly does pay off and was quite surprised that craigslist had so many different options that did not come in my search engine results! Like anything on the web make sure you check out how legitimate the offerings are and be cautious with any of your personal information.
So any ideas would greatly be appreciated. Take care and have a great day from Monty of Indiana ________________________________ From: Nancy Pritchard <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Sunday, April 10, 2011 7:37 PM Subject: [QUAD-L] advise...cut back or lossing funds OK how do you move out of one state to another without loosing the funds for care during the transition?
