There is quite a bit of information on Pontoon boats and paraylzed individuals on the net. The first thing you have to determine is are you going to access the boat from a dock or land. Then you will have to make a wider gate for the chair to enter the boat. Ifyou are accessing from a dock you are going to have to build a ramp that can be lifted up manually or better yet using a 12 volt powered hoist to allow the ramp to come up or down. If you are getting on the boat from land you need to get on it from the front and buy a long aluminum ramp to get up. They actually sell those on ebay. Youtube had a quad in a power chair that enters and drives his own pontoon. And I will add you dont want to anchor yourself down in the case that the boat sinks and you must bail. Ron c7
