I stumbled across a documentary about the rise of this band and I immediately thought everyone here would be interested in it. Unfortunately I'm not entirely sure where it can be viewed right now. The documentary is shot on the streets of Africa and that in itself is quite enlightening when you consider the majority of the band is paraplegic.
Here is a YouTube clip. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VaTZ5gAzkCY Before you ask, the guy playing the thing that looks like a guitar isn't actually a guitar. Here's what someone else wrote about it. His name is Roger Landu, and he plays an electrified satonge (one-stringed lute) which he designed and built himself. The satonge consists of a guitar string tensed between the drum of a tin can and a wooden bow inserted in its base. Melodies are created by plucking the string with one hand while the other moves the bow in and out, changing the tension of the string. enjoy the clip and check out the film when you get an opportunity.
