I for one am surprised or did you chose to park there. Having you mention that to the spinal unit for their input regarding the parking issues? Best Wishes In a message dated 6/1/2011 2:54:00 P.M. Central Daylight Time, [email protected] writes:
I am about to begin the process through CIGNA to get an uppertone exercise machine covered. Over the phone, before even sending the pre-authorization they are sayingt hat it is not covered because it is exercise equipment. My doctor is putting together a package and I have two examples where appeals were accepted but they were with other insurers. The simple fact that they don't recognize that this is a necessity for a quad puts me on TILT! Since I live in Atlanta I contacted Shepherd about their 'Beyond Therapy' and was pretty disappointed. They wanted 850+ a week for 9 hours of therapy, no insurance and a 9-month waiting list. The bigger this place gets, the less they care about individuals and their needs. 3-month wait for appointments, and they actually put a parking deck in, and to get out you have to literally get out of your car and put a coin in to exit. Even able bodied can't reach from inside and have to get out. Then security gives me a hard time when they have to come out and assist. Pure genius! On a happier note, CIGNA did cover my titanium TiLite and I'll pick that up this month. My daily chair was stolen so I've been in this tiny rugby chair for waay too long. Todd D C-6 inc
