We made my mouthsticks 20 years ago and except for changing the bite part I’m
still using the same ones. My reading mouthstick is an arrow shaft, and my
computer mouthstick is a bendable aluminum shaft. My rehab gave me a whole
bunch the moldable plastic bite materials and when I ran out I went to a
plastic supply store and they were able to get me some more of it. On the
computers stick I use the removable pencil erasers for the tips, and on the
reading stick I use some of the soft rubber tubing that connects to the
legbags. I usually have to change the bite every two or three years. I
probably have $20.00 total invested over the 21 years. If you want some
