So you won the battle, but lost the war ?? Have you considered brake lever extensions. Does TiLite have them or can they be custom made? I picked up my TiLite ZRA yesterday and was a little disappointed. The brakes were obviously designed for paras, but even my therapist could not get then on (weird scissor type spring loaded). My spinergy wheels look nice, but the quick release axle does not lock. I am using the Varilite cushion which i like because of the ease of inflation/ deflation. I had to fight insurance a bit to get it paid, said I needed the lightweight to load/unload in my car. So far it looks better than it feels, buy I have yet to find one I'm comfortable in.
