For a limited few,(and I mean few) it can be done. But consider all the bacteria in that area plus and friction causing internal abrasion and further infections. Surprising, you are not the first to ask or inquire. I've heard of partners catching an infection from a partner or spouse who had a budding infection and didn't realize it.
